Do you think there is a way to launch a video when arriving to a specific location/zone ?

I was thinking of a script :
1) parsing the /dev/gpsdata output
2) comparing it with zones defined
3) launching a video with MobilNova (can parameters be entered in the command line ?)

Does it seem feasable to you ? are there any related project ?
