I'm interested. What are you using to modify the subtitle files?

You can use any .ttf fonf from windows for this, just replace subfont.ttf with larger font
Please also look to mplayer/mencoder doc, maybe there is an option to increase font

Your talking about a movie with subtitles separated, in sub or ssa, but when converting dvd vob file its not possible to insert subtitles directly ?
Like a dvd movie how do we select subtitles ?

I dont think you can, not within the player at least.

What we need is that in the tomtom the subtitles should be more big, they are small beacause of the 4" screen of tomtom 910.
There is a software that i didnt -*test*-('") it out yet !
The name is convertxtodvd, this software works around with subtitles too !
We just need to make some -*test*-('")s around it...

Please read mencoder user manual, maybe there is an option.

Will do. All this video formating and subtile talk is a bit new to me.
